The church is very opulent. There is gold everywhere. The church is within walking distance of the train station and worth the effort. There is no charge to get in.

Somewhere I read that this is the best baroque church in southwestern Germany. Sorry, I don't concur with that opinion. It is nice but not nearly as elaborate as either Weis or Birnau. Not far from the main train station.

We stopped by this breathtakingly beautiful church before we went to the castle and downtown. It did not disappoint! The church looks old but has been kept in the best shape. Everything inside was clean and sparkly. I went inside thinking it was a Jewish church but was thrown off by pictures of Mary, Jesus and even a few Confessionals.... More

We had a half-day late afternoon trip to Mannheim. The Jesuitenkirche is breathtaking and absolutely beautiful. They were holding service when we were there, so we stayed only briefly so as not to interrupt. I would have loved to stay for an entire service, but we had very little time. Plan a visit to this church!

This church is tucked in between several buildings so it is not easy to appreciate its full size. However, when you go inside, you forget that you are in a busy city and you are surrounded by beauty, quiet and light. The interior is very different to most churches from the same era...it is not very dark and the style... More

This is a big church that has been restored. The faux marble on the walls looked very fake. I have definitely seen much better.

If you go to the Schloss this church is down the street. Again, sad to see that it had to be rebuilt after the war but it has been reconstructed to the original design. Worth the 30 minute visit.

When Mozart was in Mannheim, he visited several time this church. It is big and nicely decorated inside.

A beautiful church in Mannheim. Built in baroque style and the catholic way of showing off in the materialistic way. It's eye catching. Don't miss it.
