Huge castle in the quadrate town. The university is located in some parts of the castle whereas other parts locate a musem. In the museum you can just admire the skill of the builders. Grandious craftmanship. Get acquainted with the Palatinate history!

The place is very well conserved and it's possible to understand a little bit the history using audio guides. It's a nice place to visit.

The University of Mannheim is housed in the Mannheim Castle, a Baroque style building. I was here for a conference, and I have to admit that it just felt different when an education institution is inside a castle. The classic feeling was brought out. Highly...More

The Mannheim Castle is a wonderful building for a university! Besides that, in the evenings there are sometimes nice events.

My wife and I married here in April 2016. She was also in the University. Nice decoration, paintings. Look up at the ceilings!

I just watched it from outside and walked through the gardens. The building is great and part of the university. The gardens are well kept with good seating areas.
