Museum hs something from the past for everybody and lots of interactive/hands on activites for kids of al ages. My review would be higher but with Mannheim being a major tourist city in Germany the museum comes up short with signing the display in any...More

All exhibits are very interesting and in nice order. Also you can find some very good experiments which help, especially young people and kids, understand physics and mechanics. The lack of English-language support though is very disappointing. All around the world museums offer such support...More

We spent a great afternoon at the museum. There was a lot to do and see and some very interesting demonstrations. A lot of the exhibits were only in German - perhaps something to improve if they wish to attract more tourists.

Worth visiting while in Mannheim. Only when the weather is not so nice, be prepared that the whole museum is crowded with people. Other than that, the stations are really well designed, one can learn interesting things and spend nice few hours in the museum.

This medium-sized technical museum was a surprising find in a near suburb of Mannheim. Great for children aged 8 - 80.

Installations are designed along a linear floor-by-floor route, starting with introducing key concepts of physics and mechanics as well as providing hands on/interactive exhibits to further understanding of such concepts. The Technoseum has changing main exhibitions and also a permanent exhibition. I like strolling around and keep visiting the main exhibits with a guided tour as you always learn a lot.
