This is a must do venue. Catch the funicular from cornmarkt. 7 euros both ways including castle entrance.

Did about a 1 hr guided tour, very informative. A lot of history. Well maintained attraction, easy access to the ruins. Great views looking into the valley.

Heidelberg castle offers a wonderful overview of the place. It's a wonderful town and should be visited once when around this place.

You can go up and park. There is a parking place, but its really small. Or you can also park on the road side, before entering the Castle.

Unfortunately I can't answer that..best option would be the events on at the castle...via the website...

No good place to park. However i could park near a large sidewalk where everyone was using for the same finality. I think i was lucky! Probably the best way to reach the castle is by train. However, be prepared for the line... More
