What a wonderful Chocolaterie. The owner totally helped to make the experience memorable with pleasant interaction. The chocolate mint gelato was the best I have ever had!

Best homemade choco in Heidelberg The owner opened the place when she retired elsewhere after a long career as chocolatier. Both lady and husband comes daily in production although in their seventies.

This is probably one of my favourite little shops in Heidelberg. It is run by a lady and a small staff and many of the items are hand picked to showcase the best chocolates. The gorgeous interior has flamboyant art nouveau touches ... It's like stepping into another world. There is a small selection of hand made ice cream. Today... More

While not realizing most of shops don't open in old town Heidelberg on Sunday, we were lucky to find Chocolate St Anna No1 open and attracted by it's vintage exterior design. As soon as we walked in, an elder lady welcomed us with her smile and an irresistible fragrance of chocolate made us crave for sweets! There are many options... More

Do not come in here and not get yourself a treat! The shop is small with a selection of various... More

We visited here twice, met the owner and very friendly shop attendants, and bought the most delicious chocolate, dark with orange and cocoa beans with chili! The shop is small but so special and offers edible flowers in chocolate and tins full of chocolate "cat tongues." I loved it.

Based on reviews here, and the company's Web site, I made a point to get to Chocolaterie St. Anna during our trip to Germany last week. I am a big fan of quality chocolates and have begun making my own at home. I was a bit disappointed, though. After walking the full length of the Hauptstrasse (St. Anna's is at... More
