Where ever I looked, I was reminded of a different city. If I looked down that alley, I was reminded of Prague. Over there looked like Passau. This way Munich, there Vienna, behind Salzburg.

The guide had great knowledge, the different houses and areas have an interesting history. Especially the old dutch inn.

Heidelberg has such a history and some of it can be experienced wandering the old town. Whilst it is not as impressive as some smaller medieval towns there is still much to capture the attention.

Just lovely to stroll through all the old streets with cobble stones, visit the castle, enjoy the old building, walking over the bridges, etc.

We spent the day in Heidelberg and we really enjoyed our time there. Christmas market was so nice, crepes for the kids and beautiful German construction. Worth a visit !
