When we first arrived to Europe six years ago we came across this store. It was a very detailed tour of the history of clocks and how they are made. At the time could not decide on which clock to go with. Now six years later the store is still owned and operated by the same gentleman. His work is... More

We stopped in the shop to have a look. Someone - Oli I guess - was carving some decorations. He had about a dozen he was doing on one long board. Interesting to watch that he had a handcarved assembly line going.

I have a disability so going upstairs was very difficult. The selection seemed minimal compared to other stores in town and the staff seemed frazzled. The owner was on holiday and apparently he does the engraving so that was unavailable. I just found it a bit unprofessional compared to other stores.

I would ONLY buy a cuckoo clock from Oli's Schnitzstube!!! The full handcrafted ones are on 2nd floor of store. The "tourist/souvenir" clocks are beautiful as well and on the first floor, but remember, not all of the parts come from Germany, many are shipped from other countries. There are so many beautiful clocks here! Great place!

Clocks hand carved on site. Oli is working in the shop and is welcoming and happy to answer questions! The lady who works the shop floor is very knowledgeable. She was always available but never rushed us when we were choosing the perfect clock. These clocks are works of art and the customer service is perfect!

After all the build up this shop was given we were prepared to buy here at any price. We were so shocked to not see any clocks until we were shown upstairs. There were some clocks in 2 rooms but the overwhelming issue was the heavy dark color. It made it hard to even see the clock details. The animals... More

We traveled to Triberg from Dusseldorf to get a clock. Oli was working the store himself that day, and it was pretty crowded, but he still took the time to show us around and explain why his clocks were of the highest quality versus others. The clocks are not cheap, but they are worth the cost for the quality.

Olis is a small cuckoo clock shop, that if you don't know what your looking for that you will miss it entirely. The shop owner is Oli, and you can see him making more clocks as soon as you enter the shop to the right. To the left on the first floor, is a few small Christian crosses, small nativities,... More

This shop and the one next door have higher quality than other shops in town. These are truly hand carved (rather than hand assembled of machined parts). The one next door is much better, in my opinion because of a Higher level of service and true Focus on customer.
