A good shop with lots (1,000?) clocks but a bit of a tourist attraction.Other, smaller shops seemed to have better quality clocks.

If you have some spare time while in Triberg, pay a visit to the House of 1000 Clocks. There certainly is a huge range of interesting and unusual clocks on display. The clocks are well displayed and many have very intricate designs.

When you walk in you feel like you are entering a mass-produced cuckoo clock shop without any personal attention. Prices seemed high for what you get. Save your time and money and go to the shop next door or Oli’s for your cuckoo clock which...More

Never seen so many cookoo clocks but they are very expensive . Staff are helpful but unless you are spending huge money on a hand made clock they ere not so interested.

We were told that ours was made out of Linden tree wood, which is commonly found in Germany. The wood of pine tree and walnut trees are also used.
