We were there at about 10:30 in the morning were able to do a tasting on their store at the vineyard. She was very nice with wonderful English. I really enjoyed the experience and walked away happily with a bottle of wine and wrapped in bubble wrap for the trip.

Easily accessible by bus 216 from the old town (we stayed at Hotel am Friedrichsbad which is just 7mins walk to the bus stop to take the bus) which takes approximately 20mins to reach the winery. Awesome view along the way as you get to see large patches of grape field and pretty buildings. Located among the many wineries in Baden baden Neuweier with their own grape field. It also has an on-site restaurant and hotel. Can't comment on these 2 as we didn't patronize them (restaurant was only open after 4pm on weekdays). Spent about 3hours strolling in the grape field enjoying the awesome view and taking lots of photos. Weather in April is cooling and we hardly perspire.

After which, we went for some wine tasting at the winery. There is an English Speaking Staff that assisted us with the wine tasting and explanation. Very nice and friendly person.
Understand from my boyfriend that Weingut is the only winery that responded to his enquiries providing more information among the handful of emails he sent out.

Definitely not a wine connoisseur but the sweet white wine (which seems to be the speciality in Baden Baden) is definitely much to our liking compared to the red wine which is much drier. Price is reasonable as well.

Highly recommend trip to make! :)

Spent a lovely afternoon/evening in Weingut Schloss Neuweier in August. I was travelling around Southern Germany with my boyfriend and a couple of friends and happened to find this place, fortunately :)

There were some kind of wine festival at the time, with special tasting menus and food available. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. We had great wine-related discussions with them. We were able to purchase our favourite wines by bottle (to take home).

We know a little German but the staff spoke pretty good English, too.

Wine tasting room is open all year round from MON-FRI 9:00-17:00, SAT 10:00-15:00 and SUN in May-Oct 10:00-13:00. The wide range of Riesling, Pinot Noir (Spaetburgunder), Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc (Weisser Burgunder), Sauvignon Blanc, Gewuerztraminer & Muscat creations of table wines, sparkling wines, desert wines as well as hard spirts are well worth a try. Should have time then do go and eat at the Michelin Chef Roettle Restaurant and stay in the castle suits or boutique hotel. Speak English, French and Italien. Grand Cru wines Riesling Goldenes Loch and Mauerwein are very speacial with lots of history dating back to Queen Victoria and first Zepplin Menus.
