Just an average cathedral. Perhaps the only known one in the city. Supposedly the inside of the church was build in the 3rd century

We visit lots of churches on our visits around Europe. This one is a pretty small one with nothing amazing. Good to escape the heat though.

Not the usual Cathedral. Doesn't look much from the outside and very plain inside for the majority of it. For such a big city it's quite a disappointment compared to others we have been to.

Church is fully integrated in inner city buildings. Outside, an old roman wall is part of the construction. Inside its rather simple. Worh a visit

There has been so construction for upkeep, but amazing structure. History abound. You definately feel like you are in France, in THE Cathedral.

Not much to look at from the outside, I didn't believe it was the cathedral and was having trouble finding the entrance, but inside is lovely. They had quiet church music playing, which meant that tourists were respectfully silent. All the little alcoves are beautiful and many in great states of repair. You can light a candle, pray, wander around... More

Dating back to the 3rd and 4th centuries, this cathedral visit is not to be missed and reveals the history of the beginnings of religious freedom for Christians in Europe. The pulpit dates back to the 18th Century.

This is a lovely church in the oldest part of Grenoble. The neighborhood around it kind of spoils the charm though. Rue Brocherie is a loud street full of bars and people who drink too much at night. I love the inside of the church at the holidays.

I went to the Notre Dame of Grenoble because it was something to do. The first day I went downtown I could not find it! I looked all over and did not see it anywhere, so that night I googled exactly where it was and did street view... then I found it. When I went the next day it took... More
