Great place for families, as young children can enjoy the stream, playground, poney rides, or feeding the goats. The food is simple, and surprisingly not bad for a buvette in the woods. In the summer, the families can be really international, speaking French, English, Italian,...More

Free of charge, sheltered. A perfect place to spend some time on a hot summer day! The water is very, very cold (running down from a glacier) but the kids love it! A bar nearby, playground...just great fun!

Amazing little bit of paradise, great little church, chalets and walks along river, in mountains as far as Mer de Glace

Hired a fat bike and cycled through here in the snow, really beautiful area! Highly recommended, I think it would be equally gorgeous in summertime!

This place is an oasis on a hot summer's day, particularly with young kids. It's well shaded, yet bright - and with the glacier melt water - a good place to cool down!

Stopped here for a drink on our walk into Le Praz. Rustic little cafe, very family friendly with Shetland pony rides and play equipment for kids. Great.

Beautiful stop if you are in Chamonix or heading to Lac Blanc. This entire area is gorgeous in the Spring, with colorful flowers blooming, brightly painted Chateau homes and the lovely back drop of the Alps.

Although the place is basically just a playground with a small cafe, it still worth a visit for families staying in Chamonix area. Especially nice it is during a hot summer day, as a small river flows through the area and provides a cooling place...More
