Climb on this mountain is amazing. I can't describe, it's a different sensation. Maybe the reason is the tallest cable car in the world. Or even the impact of lack of oxygen. It's a wonderful landscape. Unique. Great structure on the top. It's expensive to get there, but it's worth.

We were here on a beautiful fall day. Very beautiful vistas. We enjoyed the ride from Annecy. We took the longer way. Much better than the autoroute.

An amazing natural wonder. Chamonix is also a beautiful city. A walk through the city streets is worth the trip. Everything is expensive though. I didn't visit during whinter sports season but i imagine it would be even more amazing.

The cost is rather high, and I am not crazy about heights, but I wouldn't have missed the opportunity to experience this amazing sight and part of the world surface!! You, literally feel you are on top of the world. All this said, I was glad to descend to the base as I was experiencing the negative effects of the... More

We were actually in Chamonix but did not go up the mountain but the views from different parts of the town were stunning, of the mountain, the glacier and the river.

We went to the top despite the weather being cloudy and the clouds parted long enough for us to appreciate the view. It was snowing lightly but not windy so shorts were okay. Climb the stairs to the very top!

Upon arriving in Chamonix we saw (from our hotel room) the highest mountain in Europe. As beautiful as that view was we traveled up the Aiguille du Midi to the 12,600 level for a better view. It was awe inspiring. So high and covered with glaciers! We were so struck by the Mountain (and frankly by the views of the... More
