    Amazing
Mountains are amazing, only one word- they are beautiful. Sometimes when you are high enough yourself you can' t appreciate the height of the mountain but here you can see the whole height of the mountains. Wonderful view points with good views. To me the best view point on Mont Blanc is from the top of the Brevent Cable Car

One of the most beautiful places to see snow mountains.
We were very lucky that the day was a day for pictures!!! #1, when you visit agui de midi, don't skip the gondola to Italy in good days. #2, visit mer de glace as early as possible. We went there right after visiting agui de midi without having lunch (just ate some snack), it will be very crowdy late afternoon.

    Beautiful day at monc blanc
Beautiful town. Beautiful mountain. Day trip to monc blanc completed 🏔️ 🇫🇷 ☑️ Highly recommend the experience, but you want a day where the weather is fantastic. Unfortunately we were only able to be taken up the cable cart 7000ft because of strong winds at the top. Don’t be a me, wearing shorts because the weather at the bottom was 23c because when you get to the top, 4c 🥶 Wear your cosies and enjoy a espresso at the cafe. Tickets are average price.

    A fantastic walking tour
We did the Tour du Mont Blanc highlights tour with Raw Travel, under the guidance of Rob Gale. Rob's knowledge of the mountains and the lodges was invaluable. Although the walking was at times challenging, the group felt well supported. All lodges were comfortable. A fantastic experience.

Cable car to Aiguille du Midi
Extraordinary experience! We took cable car from Chamonix to Aiguille du Midi. You can see all Chamonix area from the top and it feels like you are on the top of the world. All Alps are underneath you. The view is stunning. It was -10 degrees and I never felt that cold but definitely every second was worth it!

We drive here from our accommodation in Montvalezan France in our hire car. Amazing drive to an even more amazing destination! The view of the mountain is magnificent. The magnitude so epic. We got the Skypark 🚠 cable car up the mountain to the top of Italy although we only went half way due to cloud at the top.

The view across to Mont Blanc is something to see, knowing that you are currently in one of the highest points across Europe really makes you feel insignificant and a little in awe of the size and scope of the natural world. If you've never been up a mountain this is a perfect place to start, prepare to be blown away.

Well-groomed ski slopes, no queues for the lifts. Excellent infrastructure. It is possible to stay in hotels and apartments in different price ranges.

Mont Blanc is iconic for the Alps - though the mountain straddles France and Italy. As the second highest mountain in Europe. The snow and glacier topped peak is a beauty to behold.

The Tour du Mont Blanc was the fourth and most challenging self-guided multi-day hike my husband and I have taken. We were attracted to Inn Walking’s 8-day trip because of the reduced mileage and hotel accommodations. We finished the trip mid-September 2023.
I expect that some of the challenges we encountered can be attributed to a busy year on the TMB and for tourism in Europe overall. Other problems are endemic to the way Inn Walking handled our arrangements and I hope will serve as a cautionary note to other travelers planning to make this spectacular trek. I explored making this trip with 17 other walking travel companies and I wish I had chosen one of them.
Inn Walking is part of a travel agency called Traventuria. The accommodations they arranged on the TMB were consistently lovely and comfortable. However, communication was terse and sometimes difficult to understand, as if it had been run through a translation application.
The route planning and support were handed off to Altitude Mont Blanc, Traventuria’s partner for the TMB. There is only one way to describe Altitude Mont Blanc’s role in our trip: terrible. Terrible. On Day 3 there was no route provided to get us from our hotel to the Day 4 trailhead. Had we not noticed this, we would have had a 25-mile day. Instead, we spent several hours pinpointing the problem, mapping a route, and arranging public transportation. An “urgent” email arrived sometime that day alerting us to the problem. Email is not something we check while we’re hiking. Traventuria knew where we were staying and it seems more appropriate for that kind of a time-sensitive notification to be left at the hotel desk, where we would see it upon check in. But if “urgent” information is going to be shared via email, we would have appreciated knowing that before we began the trip.
In another example of cavalier route support, Altitude Mont Blanc did not alert us to the closure of the gondola we were supposed to take on the final day. When we learned of it ourselves and asked for guidance, Altitude Mont Blanc offered no option other than to add four miles on a steep gravel road to that day’s walk and wished us a “nice day under the sun.”
Altitude Mont Blanc’s route guide itself was sparse and poorly translated. Alternative routes were difficult to follow.
We are capable hikers and could have planned this trip ourselves. But we also are over 60 and value the peace of mind that comes with route support and trail guides. We ended up second-guessing every bit of information provided to us and spending too much time on logistics that we had paid someone else to manage.
Notably, we have not been asked to provide any post-trip feedback to Altitude Mont Blanc, Traventuria, or Inn Walking. I suspect they know it would not be good.

75 Euros per person to go to the top of Mont Blanc. They lure you with this glass box attraction for guaranteed thrills. We were herded to wait in a line to board the enclosed lift. It was very crowed and exhausting to only have to exit the lift to enter multiple lifts up the massive mountain. The views were spectacular however the process to get to the top was exhausting. Once at the top you must gather in more lines and wait. The restaurant was reservations only, the snack bar was packed. We were given a reservation number to depart the mountain and that was another crowed line. We were literally trapped there. Once we got back to the bottom of Mont Blanc we were exited through a crowed gift shop. We could not wait to get away from the biggest Tourist TRAP we have ever experienced.
