Fabulous time on the lake. We took the extended cruise and got off at the second stop and had lunch before reboarding for the return. I have to say that I love boat trips so I am prejudiced in advance. It was wonderful.

Just simply walking around the lake is a breathtaking experience. Very romantic and photogenic. If you get a chance take a boat cruise for an hour or more. Have camera on hand, many good photo opportunities.

It's cyclable with excellent cycle tracks. Very hilly at opposite end to Annecy town so be prepared for a few walks! Someone we spoke to did it in 4.5 hours.
