This actually about a one mile walk out of town on a non particularly picturesque road. Every so often there is a post with a Van Gogh print and a paragraph or two about his time in Saint Remy. By itself, probably not worth the...More

The sanatorium where Van Gogh spent time producing many of his paintings. Copies of his art are placed with the very view that Van Gogh would have seen. Tranquil places to stop and contemplate the world. At e5 it's worth an hour of your time.

This is a lovely trail to follow if you want to see all of Van Gogh's artwork. It is really interesting and leads you up the hill, ending up at the St Paul de Mausole.

Was disappointed with this! They say the paintings shown were painted around the spot they are in but all links to the past are well and truly gone!

There is a section of the walk that you may prefer to drive, though most is reasonable walking. Go to the Office de Tourism for a map, then follow the map and markers (2 images provided with this post) and it is a snap. Markers...More

No cafe on site. A good gift shop. Short walk back into town for cafes and restaurants.
