We were actually in Nice, but our host at hotel told us about beautiful beach at Villefranche,so we decided to visit it. It was just perfect. Beach, the promenade, cafes along... Just beautiful experience.

We've explored and relaxed here several times over the years. Never tire of enjoying it. Mainly arriving by train at their very convenient sea front station. This time we approached it by sea on a tender boat. What a delightful view that was. So colourful...More

Lovely harbour with yachts and boats (as you might expect) and delightful cafes to enjoy the sun, view and refreshments. Many an hour can be whiled away doing nothing much but soaking it all up. Enjoy.

Enjoyed lunch and a stroll around this delightful little harbour and it’s possible to follow the coastal path all along the bay.

Take a look at all the different boats and ships! There's even a smal, a bit hidden, pebble beach. Have a coffee or a snack at the small bar. Read about the history of the harbour on the posters outside the harbour office.

Pretty little harbour. First saw the harbour from the road between Monaco and Nice and commented on its beauty. Sitting in a cafe overlooking the port is a very enjoyable setting.

I visited from a cruise ship and was able to see the harbour from different angles and it is a stunning place. Can't wait to go again

Head towards the marina but stop when you reach hotel D'ar on left. On right you will see small free parking area. Get there before lunch maybe 11am if you can. If full it is worth waiting for 5mins as very often a space... More
