A nice harbor which I just love eating breakfast and dinner at while in Villefranche. No need to rush, just take things slow and appreciate the french way of life. Many restaurants to choose from you cant go too wrong with any of them.

We visited Villefranche on our recent cruise and thought it was a beautiful little town. The harbour area is stunning, the road is lined with small bars, cafes and restaurants and the harbour is filled with small boats and yachts. The buildings climb up the hillside behind the harbour and are typical French "shabby chic"

This harbour is very typical of a small french harbour. Its pretty quite at least is was when we were there in October 2016. Its probably better in the Summer.

We visited as part of a cruise and would certainly go back. It was beautiful, friendly and full of cafes and shops. Highly recommended

Recommend paying for some parking at the Old Harbour, a few hours worth, and then walk the headland to the right, past the Fort du Mont Alban, heading back on yourself up into town, as the path leads you. From there, you can descend though some quiet, picturesque streets to the main promenade overlooking the bay at Plage de la... More

Villefranche is what the Riviera should be. It's a quieter version of Nice or Monaco. The harbor is picture perfect.

I passed by Villefranche during my trip to the French Riviera. I spent a majority of the time just walking by and enjoying the beauty of the quaint and small city. There are number of cafes and restaurants and not always busy which makes it quite relaxing.

The area is very picturesque and beautiful. It's great to go for a walk around the old harbour and in general the sea path. Very relaxing and nice walk.
