This small but lovely church, which is still a consecrated Catholic church, was decorated by John Cocteau. You can ask the curator there, Mary-France, for a guided tour, and it is most interesting. She made the artwork come to life for us. It is full...More

This is a beautiful small church rescued by a forward thinking artist, Jean Cocteau, from what was a store used by local fisherman. The poet, artist and filmmaker has used the internal walls of the building as a canvas and created something unique. Well worth...More

And try to make it to Menton for the sweet museum dedicated to the work of this true Renaissance man. He made the original 'Beauty and the Beast' ('La Belle et la Bete'), one of the best classic French films.

You could almost walk past this beautiful chapel. It surprises you by suddenly appearing unexpectedly. its so small looks like a local house at first if you didn't know it was there. A very plesant suprise.

For people interested in Jean Cocteau, this is a must. There is a charge of 3 euros but it is worth it.

This 14th century chapel was decorated inside and out by Jean Cocteau in the 1950s. The chapel is small but there is a lot of detail to look at in the wall paintings. Information boards describe them. I liked the depictions of the fishermen and...More

The Chapel cannot be missed while strolling along the plaza. It serves as a beautiful backdrop to the emerald blue sea. Though I did not get a chance to go inside as it was closed when we crossed it, it's architecture still caught our attention...More

You pay to get into the chapel and view the work of Jena Cocteau, it's quaint. The village is beautiful, you climbed the stairs to take you to the square and see WELCOME Hotel, this place has been very popular movie locations.
