Just got back from St Tropez had a lovely time whilst i was there. My boyfriend and i visited lots of the clubs on pampelonne including le club 55, nikki beach etc...We also went to key west and i have to say it was by far the worst one there. The waiters were rude and obnoxious (especially the one called... More

PAMPELONNE BEACH One small point, entrenched in local legend. The well-known Pampelonne Beach often gets mentioned as being in St Tropez, presumably with the assumption it will bring it some extra caché to the place. We recently visited Pampelonne and very much enjoyed it. It is fascinating to see the long line of superyachts moored up with their affluent passenegers being collected by the boats of the various private beach clubs. We recently visited Pampelonne beach during a three day visit to the St. Tropez area. Having heard that this beach was the choice of the "rich and famous" who can go anywhere, we expected to be impressed. Unfortunately, this beach belongs in the "Gallery of the Highly Overated". While the sand was pleasant, it was full of dried seaweed, which... More

I've visted Pamplonne beach many times over the last 30 years. The first time, as a student, illegally selling ice creams and refeshments to naked baking bodies! It's a beach which means many things to many different people. For a start off, it's not actually in St Tropez. It's the other side of the headland just a few km away.... More

Pampelonne is a gorgeous and quite beach. The water is crystal clear. It is in my opinion one of the best beaches in the South of France.
