About
In the heart of Ste Maxime, the port is home to 800 pleasure crafts and around a dozen fishing boats. Stroll on the Leon Condroyer pier, which was completely refurbished in 2013. The Harbour master's office, whose architecture is reminiscent of the silhouette of a ship, has a range of services for recreational boaters.

This was our first visit to this port and we liked it very much. The town is within easy walking distance, and there are many shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. The port is less busy than St Tropez, except when the ferry comes in. The ferry runs every twenty minutes or so. When we visit again I will ask for a mooring in the port prive, but watching visitors running for the ferry was entertaining.
The Capitanerie itself and particularly Antoine were very helpful and made sure the boat was secure for us as the wind the day following our arrival was blowing a gale. Please don't forget to retrieve your extra rope Antoine!
The port itself boasts a lovely restaurant, L’Amiral, which looks over the bay to the lights of St Tropez, and there is also a very good oyster bar on the quay.
Showers and loos could be better (cold water) but a good stay.

If you like nice quiet marinas you should really stop at this one. It has a really nice clean charm about it. It has an area you go go up to a second level and get some nice photos as well. There area also some nice murals along some of the walls.

There are some cool stores at this marina although I think the one I went into was a bit pricey.

This place also has really really nice restrooms to use that are super clean. Just make sure you give the attendant a tip as they work hard to keep it clean!

Has a lot of small shops, cafés and restaurants. Be aware that most are closed during mid-day (siesta).

What a lovely small marina in such a beautiful town. With all the usual facilities including a restaurant & piano bar.
Many day trip boats including a miniature submarine experience.

Sante Maxime, I have always thought, is like Cannes on a smaller scale. It has plenty of everything but small enough to walk everywhere. It is my favourite place in that area. There is a very good boat service to Saint Tropez and up to Cannes. This gives good views of the coast line is definitely to be recommended.

A downer on the area is that if you decide to drive to Saint Tropez or Gassin and most of the other places in the area the shortest way is the coast road but it gets so congested that it can form massive traffic jams and it is best avoided.

A a word of warning about that road is about the big roundabout at Cogolin near the Casino supermarket. When you stop at the traffic lights there are people trying to wash your windscreen. I have seen that all they do is to slap some foam on one patch, scrape it off and then demand money. Even if you tell them not to, they take no notice until you are very firm. When refused, one of them hit the roof of my car and ran off. Fortunately, there was no dent which would in the UK have been criminal damage. This is just a form of aggressive begging, also illegal in the UK, effectively it is mugging! The local French authorities should do something about but they never have. It doesn't seem to happen elsewhere in along the coast.

This little harbour is not so special. The promenade isn't nice. In april there was no movement, everything was very quiet.
