Put your comfy shoes on and either walk or run.
I did a run and loved the surrounding and the atmosphere. Start early in the hot summer months

Fantastic views and nice walk on the cliffs edge at the beginning, more flat surface later. You can fill up water bottle in the middle of walk.

You can take bus number 15 from Port Lympia to st Jean cap ferrat, and then walk around the perimeter of the peninsula, at least until the lighthouse/phare, when you start on the Monaco- facing side. Then the boardwalk is closed for repairs and the hike through the fenced villa area is not particularly beautiful, nor is there a walkway for passengers so you basically have to walk on the road..Hope they’ll fix it soon

One of the most beautiful and comfortable walks on the Cote Azure. We have walked this way since 1972 in all weather conditions and never have been tiered of it.
It’s so absolutely breathtaking.
Have fun and do it, it is safe!

Quite simply one of our favourite walks ever. We often stay in Villefranche or Beaulieu and the first thing we do each time is this walk. It's around 14 or 15km, depending where you start, and takes 3.5-4 hours depending on pace. The Villefranche and south sides are more rugged, and you walk past many stunning houses you could only dream of living in.

The path can be quite rough at times, with some highish steps, but it's easily doable. In summer, there are many small areas on the rocks you can sunbathe on and swim from, but these always fill up by late morning at weekends.

There are water fountains at the lighthouse and the entrance to the little Cap, so you'll never go thirsty.

One thing I'd recommend is doing a boat trip around the Cap or to Monaco from Villefranche, as you get a better view of the houses and also see many you never see from the path.
