This smallish galley is situated in the old town right by the open air market which is surrounded by many cafés - great for people watching. By the way you can buy a week long galley pass for 20 euro, giving you entry to all...More

Very small museum (of sorts). Had a number of photos of Nice from turn of the 20th century. They were interesting but not so much I would pay to see them. That said, it was free when I went so you can't complain about that...More

There was a general theme in Nice with the museum, generally they were disappointing, there was just mainly lacking in substance. I felt with this museum they could have actually had more going on, it's very small and unless you are going to visit some...More

Comes as part of museum pass - would have overlooked it without it. The photography was stunning and the staff really friendly. English translations not provided on exhibits for those who enjoy them.

We went to this museum because both my husband and I are amateur photographers. The standing exhibition are photos of Nice during the Belle Epoque (late 1800s to early 1900s). The other exhibition, which changes from time to time, is more contemporary. When we visited,...More

The Helmut Newton installation which we were fortunate to see here was outstanding. As a semi-professional photographer it was inspirational. Next door has a further exhibition of very old photos of Nice itself and a presentation of cameras from across the years. NOTE : 1...More
