Walking through the flower market on a nearly daily basis whilst in Nice was a pleasure. The array of flowers was just splendid and filled the whole area with a wonderful smell. Besides the flowers there are many stalls selling various fruit and vegetables as well as traditional gifts and artistry. A must see if visiting Nice.

In the Marche aux fleurs you certainly find flowers, but you also can find quite a few other things that you might bring back home to your loved ones as a small present. What I liked best were the tiny soaps in the shape of macarons. But you can certainly find the real macarons there or little animals made of... More

Located in the Old Town area, this is quite the stroll as you soak in the aromas and luscious smells from the flowers. Great to visit anytime.

This place was absolutely stunning. It is a must see if you are coming to nice. I went on a Sunday morning around 8:30 am. It was the perfect time to go, not a lot of tourists and you could easily walk around. There are 3 rows of merchants with two different sides to them so there was a lot... More

I visited this area on Wednesday about 13h. They were cleaning the area but they were some stores open.

A bustling market by day, the heart of restaurant night life after dark, this is a great place to wander, sit and wander again. Every visitor should go.

Overpriced if looking for deals or on a budget. If you are staying in Nice for a while there are more affordable food markets. Antique prices are high, my search for antique lace turned up two Irish ruffled sleeves complete, perfect condition and one large piece for $20.00. Quality and def vintage but not a bargain. I stayed in Nice... More

Yes, it s a real market were real Frenchmen shop. But is also a tourist trap and yes, there are quite many restaurants that are OK even if all tourists probably have a detrimental effect. The waterfall from the place of the old castle, the closeness to the sea, the old town, you still cannot miss this place, and then... More

You cannot miss the Flower Market! I loved it because it reflects the idea of the "traditional market" concept that I've always had in my mind. Beside flowers you'll also find spices, essential oils, seeds and soap: so pitoresque! Obviously flowers are colourful, but they simply complete the atmosphere, they are natuarally meant to be there: the sea is just... More

Everyone knows about the Marche aux Fleurs, but buried in this wonderful venue for locally made produce is the best glacé fruit value in Nice. You can buy fancy little packages of this very French delicacy at many stores around the city, but the price can run Euro 50.00 per Kilo and more. And the variety is limited to fruits... More
