This historic part of Nice feels like a medieval village with narrow streets curving between old buildings with red-tile roofs, small restaurants and open-markets.

Nice's old town is a lovely place for strolling, browsing and enjoying the mediterranean lifestyle. A must.

We spent A lot of time here while in Nice and when you visit you can understand why. Tiny streets, not too busy end of Sept. Lovely restaurants and access via many steps to castle hill

A nice place to stroll through and do some shopping while selecting a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. At night it is a very lively area with many crowded restaurants and street musicians playing different kinds of music. Fun area.

It’s a great maze of streets with any type of shop you can imagine. Dozens of places to eat and drink as well, however, not real easy to find a French restaurant, Italian, no shortage there. You can easily spend several hours there.

A myriad of quaint shops bars and restaurants. Little back streets full of unusual and individual shops. Easy to get a bit lost but that all adds to the enjoyment of discovery!

Sorry for the delay. It was chilly when we were there the first part of May. So I'm sure it would be cold during your time frame. Would suggest looking at average weather temps online. Jacket, scarf and pants were needed. We... More
