Ancient ruins and a small museum showing artifacts dating back thousands of years. Their Roman section is especially interesting with one statue of Julius Caesar ( if I have recalled correctly?) which looked like it had just been finished. It is cleverly positioned in front of a mirror giving it extra drama.

We enjoyed a quiet walk around the museum and the grounds. Very interesting layout and boards. Many of which are in both English and French. There are support materials for those that are not bilingual for the others.

Loved this Museum and a ticket here also allows you to visit the Museum of Art next door - excellent value.

Would like to see more developed guidance among the ruins, museum has some good artefacts and children's tactile area.

It is important to realise that you can buy a museum ticket that allows you into several attractions over a period of 2 days. Be very careful when you buy the ticket, as some of the museums are closed on certain days e.g. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. Therefore, you will miss out on using your ticket to it's full potential. Also, if you... More

Whilst I didn't glean much from the displays inside this museum, the real treasure lies in the grounds outside. A beautiful old Roman city in ruins lies in the backyard of the museum. Transport yourself back to ancient times and really absorb the beauty of this great site. For me, this ancient Roman city of baths and spas dating from... More

This is a magnificent site. Inside was an exhibition from two Greek and Roman collections. We could not see the relevance to the site. Many of the artifacts were intriguing, particularly two exhibits of wheels for the beds. We had never seen these before and yet there was no explanation about them or their relevance to this early AD Roman... More

Friendly staff, and a great museum to visit with children or even if your short on time. I have been there twice and its small enough to see everything and the kids won't get bored. They have a great expo of history in the Côte d'Azur/Alpes Maritimes region. The artefacts date back to the Metal ages, Middle Ages and before.... More
