Large open space. On the one side it gives access to the old town. There's a fountain at this end. The space is cut by the tram tracks in its length. Beautiful rust colored buildings line it.

If you want to go to the old town, you will pass by " place Massena ", if you want to go to the beach, you will pass by the same square. Have fun....
This was the beginning of the shopping area - Galeries Lafayette, etc. Many young people were there - visiting, roller blading, skate boarding. Worth a look.
