Large open space. On the one side it gives access to the old town. There's a fountain at this end. The space is cut by the tram tracks in its length. Beautiful rust colored buildings line it.

Worth a walk through. Beautiful fountains and park. Nice stroll and leads to the modern art museum. It is all free and a great place to cool off.

This was the beginning of the shopping area - Galeries Lafayette, etc. Many young people were there - visiting, roller blading, skate boarding. Worth a look.
