This is a long avenue of Nice that is close to the train station and eventually finishes close to the beach. A lot of shops and places to eat. The tram goes through so be careful crossing.

This is in the heart of Nice. The shopping, trams and square is a central place. We love the buzz of it all, especially the water fountains. My little boy lovely getting wet and riding his scooter in between the fountains.

This avenue is on the tram route. So if you start at Nice's best square square massena opposite Galleries Lafayette, a tourist attraction in itself start walking. All the top shops and attractions are here, Lafayette, Nice Etoille (Star of Nice), churches, shops, food in...More

There are literally 3 H&M stores within a couple blocks of each other. Also has a large mall. This is the place to go shopping. Good on rainy days.

It's well worth the effort to walk the length of Avenue Jean Medicin as this is where you see the "real residents of Nice". The street is a shopper's paradise with stores ranging from pricy boutiques to shops with reasonable prices, and dozens of specialty...More

There is usually a 'Casino' nearby in Nice - small grocery stores dotted around. Otherwise, near the front, there are kiosks or small tourist shops that generally have those things available. Enjoy!
How far do I have to walk from Gare Nice-ville station to the closest tram stop on Avenue Jean Medecin that will take me all the way to Galleria Lafayette ? Aslo from Galleria Lafayette, will I be able to walk (considering distance and time) to Vieille Ville Old Town ?
