Near the port in a scraggly building is this collection of individual antique shops. There was an eclectic cross section of pieces that included metal art, mosaics, paintings, bronzed art, pottery, furnishings, fixtures and so much more. Nothing stood out more than anything else. After you walked through you realized it's a little more of the same... The best part for me was the immense tree growing through the roof, mere metres from the entrance. Conservation...

Antiques are displayed in small shops. Owners are always friendly. You can ask for discount on several items and their products are of quality. There are also nearby antique shops so if you are interested in antiques this is the place to visit in Nice.

A very small flea market area located at the port. One can browse the whole market very quickly as it is so small. The port area is very pretty, and this is a tiny attraction there.

My girlfriend was taking a picture of an antique when suddenly a merchant scared her by clapping his hand really loudly behind her head. The merchant didn't greet us but he told that it's forbidden to take a picture inside somebodys boutique without a permission in France. Then he thought for a while and told that in our case he forbids us taking pictures there. He could have informed about this kindly but instead he acted arrogantly.

Small permanent group of small storefronts in a cluster near the port. Probably something for everyone here. One shop, which unfortunately I didn't take the name of, has an incredible collection of metal works, mechanical items, bronzes, light fixtures, steam engines, etc etc. His space alone is worth a visit.

This market takes place every Monday in Cours Saleya. It's always interesting to wander around and look for bargains. You can find everything there.
