These ancient artworks are interspersed with many classically-inspired paintings, drawings, and scupltures by artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Dufy, Cézanne, Rodin, Dali, Andy Warhol, Marc Quinn, Anthony Gormley and Damien Hirst.NewWe will be co-hosting a temporary exhibition with the village of Mougins from the 12th April to 28th May 2012, Myths & Heros.A selection of sculptures, paintings & mosaics by Picasso, Arman, Sosno, Renoir, Rubens, Cezanne & Turchi on display in the Espace Culturelle.

We pop in for a visit every couple of years. What was an old rundown property has been renovated into a wonderful classic modern melange of art and history cuddling together. Superbly presented, well signed and described and lit exhibits, give a wealth of visual...More

This museum is well worth a visit if you have a couple of hours to spare. Quite an eclectic collection of modern art and Greek and Roman armour together with a nice Egyptian collection. Nice shop where you can pick up some inexpensive souvenirs.

The collection of attic, corynthian, roman, etruscan helmets is impressive by any standards. Very interesting armours as well as swords and spears. Interesting (but not convincing) combination of classic sculptures, mainly Roman busts and ancient Egypt artifacts with modern art pieces (mainly paintings) of classic...More

This is the best private art collection I have visited! A very good mix of classical and few contemporary art. We can feel the great taste and love of the art of the owner. I highly recommend this gallery to any art lover!

The museum juxtaposes ancient art with more modern pieces, and the list of 'modern' artists reads like a role-call of the top end Europeans. In practice much of the modern work is small-scale, and the matching process didn't always work for me - though sometimes...More

This museum is unique in so many ways- the juxtaposition of ancient and modern art is amazing and surprisingly effective. It's a relatively small museum which makes it easy to see the whole thing without overdoing it. It's beautifully set up on four floors, well...More
