We visited in April and the garden was well ahead of those in the UK. There are many plants you cannot grow in the UK and the variety was staggering. Well worth a visit.

The historical context is the reason to visit this garden designed by Lawrence Johnston, who also designed Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire. The variety of trees and plants collection is outstanding. Not an easy garden to traverse, with many steps (which makes it impractical for wheelchair...More

Not to be missed. Especially of interest to visitors to Hidcote in England. Another Laurence Johnson garden.

Despite being the end of the season, we were charmed by this garden. I go for experience over information, preferring to seek out the names of things that take my fancy. We did not therefore opt for the tour but found much to delight the...More

Visited in the morning when there were very few visitors. The park is in the heights of Menton and are layered with terraces. It is extremely beautiful and very peaceful. There was a group meditation class going on when we were there. Looks like locals...More
