We never made it to see this park/garden! We made the mistake of trying to walk to the entrance! If you do want to go here then drive or get the Number 7 bus from the bus station which stops right outside the ticket office.

When I arrived the skies opened. The friendly staff in the shop said 'only the English would come to visit on a day like this' and later made me a coffee. They also lent me an umbrella and warned me to be careful on the...More

We visited in April and the garden was well ahead of those in the UK. There are many plants you cannot grow in the UK and the variety was staggering. Well worth a visit.

After taking the Zest bus #7 from Menton towards a Gorbio (1.50€) I was pleasantly surprised by the Serre de la Madone gardens. It's approximately 15 acres and filled with many rare and unusual flowers. There is Italian sculptures, an orangery, kiosks, and water features....More

Not to be missed. Especially of interest to visitors to Hidcote in England. Another Laurence Johnson garden.

An interesting garden with tiers up to a lovely water garden and house. It's being restored & doesn't show all of its original glory but still worth a visit. We went in September, not the height of flower season though there were some lovely, fragrant...More
