Unlike many beaches in the south of France this one actually has real sand. You can watch the super yachts moored in the harbor.

there are many other beaches in Southern France that offer privacy and clear water, I prefer not to be lined up like in the meat market

It was a little chilly in early April, but nevertheless a nice beach for walking or relaxing. Nice views and quite pretty at sunset or sunrise. Easy access and parking was not an issue.

Small, nice sand, little rocky entering and exiting the water. Safe as it has big rocks so no boats or vessels can come close. No lifeguard but calm water. Not the best visibility (little greeny/blue water). No shade so be prepared. No facilities or bar/food.

Beaches in this area are very raw, very natural and anything that washes up from the Sea, washes up here!! Not what I expected from such an affluent area. Lots of debris on the beach and quite a lot of broken glass which really surprised...More

The weather was awful last night & destroyed the lovely beaches that the beach clubs work so hard to maintain. Anyway things look like returning to normal very quickly as diggers on the beach helping to restore the beauty

It’s a long narrow sandy beach, and it does get very crowded in summer. But it’s definitely worth visiting. The first stretch in the town centre is mainly taken up by private beaches (although you are allowed to walk along the waters edge) but after...More
