This little museum on top of a mountain right in the heart of Cannes. I believe it cost 5 euro and at the end of the tour there was a tower you could walk up that was the highest point in Cannes with a beautiful view of the bay and the Alps.

It's an odd thing to say for a museum but you really should visit the Musee de la Castre on a nice, clear sunny day as one its main attributes are the views. The museum itself is surprisingly interesting with quite a collection from the French Pacific islands such as Vanuatu as well as items of local interest. If you... More

Inside the historic quarter, the Musee de la Castre it´s inside the remainings from the medieval castle. There you have a very good view to the city centre and the harbour.

Well worth a visit, not expensive either lovely view from the top. Lovely climb to the top especially through the old streets. Go up the long way via the restaurants , and turn to the left when you reach a small square.

We visited to enjoy the view from the top of the tower, well worth a visit to enjoy great views across the whole of Cannes. The museum itself was well laid out and very interesting.

The museum is located on the top of the old city of Cannes. They exhibit ancient pagan artifacts, findings from the middle east, old Egypt, Hellenistic and more. There is an access to a tower that after climbing to its top, a wonderful panoramic view of Cannes and the area is available. Closed between 13:00-14:00 but the workers were so... More

A small cozy museum that has a little of everything. Climb the tower for the best views of Cannes! There is a range of topics within this museum and fascinating collection of old musical instruments.
