- Tom YLas Vegas, Nevada849 contributionsCruise ship Tour- Film Festival and up the mountainWe got off the cruise in the morning. The film Festival started the dat after and the area was crowed with visitors. We walked along the beach and to the step of the Red Carpet. Then we went up to the mountain facing the ocean. It took us 1/2 and hour. The view was great. On our way back, we went through the market and lots of restaurants.Visited May 2023Written 24 June 2023
- MiaLondon, United Kingdom69 contributionsBeautiful promenadeBeautiful white beach and wide promenade. Great to people watch whilst walking along or swim in the clear sea! Upmarket looking, pretty, feels safe and would definitely visit again. Only downside is beaches are private, however this also means they are well maintained.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 July 2023

Gorgeous beach front promenade that comes with a free derma-abrasion peeling if you walk right next to the beach on a windy day. The view is great though and it has a very elevated and lovely feel to walk there. However, during festival season, it is super crowded and hard to get around.

Wd did not have much time to spend here. The beach seems really nice. The buildings are also amazing. Perhaps we will have next time to stay here.

Such a wonderful place to observe and look around, beautiful place to eat out and shop. The beach so beautiful on the day with blue sky and a nice sunny day. Great experience.

I spent 7 months trying to relocate & stayed in eleven accommodations from various platforms. S/c, hotels, private accommodations. ALL without exception had a truly shocking obnoxious attitude that I was lucky to be in Cannes - which I was. But not at the expense of consistent atrocious low standard of accommodation, broken, old dilapidated, negligent properties. The absolute worst lowest standard after a lifetime of extensive travelling experienced here for up to £1000 per week. Expected to take own sheets, do own cleaning although paid €100 frequently regardless of staying/paying up to 28 days. Don’t expect a towel change in two weeks. Misrepresentation and barefaced lies throughout (final straw was told a few steps to apt turned out 75 steps + ten minute trudge through complex). Cannes is great for the day. See the glamour and face value. Forget overnight hospitality and honesty for your money. Go to Greece if you want hosts that know how to deliver.

3. Fantastic beaches
4. Loooooots of choice for food and shopping
5. Beautiful places to say
Must do - walk on the La Croisette in the evening.

One visit here is enough. Too many people, too much money being shown off, too many showoffs in general, and way too exclusive. Most of the beach is cordoned off for private access if you're welling to shell out the money. Those there are there to be seen if nothing else. Visit once to take some pics and say you've been there, but then leave and forget about coming back is it's overcrowded and way too noisy with idiots parking Lamborghinis and Ferraris along the street just to be seen or to rev the engine thinking that'll attract attention. See it then flee from it.

Easily the most famous street in Cannes. By the beach it’s a very fun vibe. We enjoyed some ice cream and people watching. No celebs but we felt pretty fancy.

A must walk when visiting Cannes beautiful beach one side and lovely shops and hotels the other. If you can afford it there are some lovely beach restaurants but as an alternative there are plenty of good value food and drink kiosks.

Can anybody recommend a beach club on La Croisette that would be suitable for a group of ladies where you can rent a bed all day and have cocktails on the beach? We would also want a good lunch too! I’ve read a few reviews and there’s a lot of negativity with bad services etc and just wondered if anyone had a top recommendation! Thank you.

Hi. I was in Cannes last autumn and saw all the construction work on Rue Felix Faux. It was so bad you couldn't walk by the beach for nearly a mile. Does anyone know when this is expected to be finished? Rob

I'm going at the start of March to Cannes and I was thinking what kind of whether there can be? Maybe there are someone who can say usually what degrees you have in March? Is it sunny?
