Advised by the owner of the restaurant where we had lunch, we spent two hours walking between Beaulieu and St Jean cap Ferrat without realizing it
We enjoyed the seaside with magnificent houses and postcard settings. It was really superb.

The easy, level walk between Beaulieu Sur Mer and St Jean-Cap-Ferrat is along the promenade Maurice Rouvier and provides beautiful views of the Mediterranean. When you arrive at St Jean-Cap-Ferrat, you can extend the walk by continuing up the Avenue Jean Mermoz until you reach Palermo beach, then descend to follow the Promenade des Fossettes around the smaller peninsula of Cap Ferrat. Please note - the Promenade des Fossettes can be affected by rough seas.

A beautiful walk on an elevated pathway beside the shore from Beaulieu-sur-Mer to Port St. Jean (Cap Ferrat). Great views across the bay and of the billionaire yachts moored there.
At the end there are pleasant eating places in Post St. Jean and, if you are tired, you can always catch the bus back to Beaulieu.

This is a very easy and pleasant walk by the sea between the town of Beaulieu sur mer and the village of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, about half an hour one way. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. You can continue the walk by going through the port of Saint Jean and walk along the Cap . It loops back back to Saint Jean. This will add another hour but it is worth it. The "sentier" continues by the sea and offers spectacular views of the coast. You can take a bus to go back to Beaulieu.

this is a wonderful walk leading to the charming village of St Jean Cap Ferrat with it's many good restaurants and bars. The panoramic views on the walk are simply wonderful.Looking back to Beaulieu there are the Alps Maritime and in the other direction St Jean. On the walk you pass Place David Niven and a large villa once owned by Charlie Chaplin.A great walk!!

The Promenade Maurice Rouvier from Beaulieu-sur-Mer to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is a beautiful walk along the Mediterranean. The entrance is beside the Hotel Royal Riviera, as one enters Beaulieu-sur-Mer coming from Nice and Villefranche. The promenade itself is well-loved by locals and visitors alike. As you leisurely stroll and take in the amazing views of the water, boats, and mountains, you may well hear many different languages as you pass others along the way. Some are walking their dogs; others are jogging by; young parents are strolling with their new babies; all are enjoying the magnificent scenery and fresh sea air. We have walked this promenade dozens of times, and it never fails to please.

We are regular visitors to St Jean and found out from the tourist office that they organise several free guided walks during the season. This particular walk from Beaulieu-Sur-Mer to St Jean would normally take us 20 minutes or so, but in the group of 15 with an experienced guide we spent about 2 hours learning of the fascinating history of the development of the island and the famous visitors who had lived in some of the beautiful properties. This most enjoyable tour was conducted in French and very well articulated so we could understand everything-not sure if other languages are spoken so best to check in advance

We took the bus from Nice, and it only cost one euro fifty! A nice bus ride that goes past beaches and ports filled with luxury yachts. Get off at the beaulieu des Fourmis stop. From there, you can take this easy paved path along the beach coast. The breeze from the water keeps you cool. The spectacular scenery is awesome! It takes about a half hour to reach Cap Ferrat. There are a few shops and boutiques at the end of this walk. We picked up a nice lunch at the boulangerie that was a very good price, and lots of choices of sandwiches and pastries. No need to pack anything along with you. There is also some choice of bars if you want a drink to toast the end of the walk! All with gorgeos views thrown in! This is a greT little diversion from the roads of Nice!

Goes from the beach at Beaulieu des Fourmis to St Jean de Cap Ferrat. Lovely during the day but also in the evening to have a drink or dinner in St Jean (we stayed in BsM). Takes about 30 mins each way and is flat and easy with lots of benches to enjoy the views.

This coastal pathway is scenic and flat on paved surface (concrete) so suitable for families pushing kids in baby strollers, and people who may have reduced mobility.
The views extend across the Baie des Fourmis all the way to Monaco. You can see the Villa Kérylos from the pathway, and this is a good route to follow if you arrive in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and intend to visit Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild at St Jean Cap Ferrat as it is signposted and easy to follow.
You can follow this pathway and stop off at small rocky outcrops for a swim, or hire a paddleboard or pedalo at the beach. Lots of fancy villas to admire, and some restaurants along the way. I recommend to take a bottle of water as it can get very hot in summer on the way to St Jean port, and you can take bus 81 back to Beaulieu or Villefranche-sur-Mer if you are too tired at the end.

Hello , I would be staying at Beaulieu sur mer and would like to watch sunset at cap ferrat with some picnic dinner. Can you please suggest a spot and is it safe to walk back (couple) to Beaulieu sur mer post sunset?

Bonne promenade.
