Staff are friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately, the amenities(toilets) room are very far away from where we docked our boat. We are in area C, and the toilets are only in Area A, B, D and E, no toilets in area C. So we had to walk like 200-250meters to the area D toilet, which it's the nearest to our dock C. Very inconvenient. Only 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms in each toilet building and the toilet stalls get wet when someone showers. Internet/wifi here not that good, only able to check text messages or email but nothing else. Very busy Marina, lots of people walking around. The boats nearest to the gate are not safe as its very close to the walkway, anyone can jump onto the boat easily. Close to town area which it's really good. Lots of restaurants and shops.

This lovely harbor is one of the prettiest areas in Antibes. As you stroll along the harbor, you will see many amazing yachts of all sizes, including some enormous ones. The sea views are awesome as well. Definitely a nice way to spend some free time while in Antibes.

Port Vauban is an amazing playground for the worlds rich and famous and their toys - huge multi story boats.
It is worth a walk around to view them and the staff working to keep them in immaculate condition in case their owners wish to visit.

This has to be one of the most fantastic sites ever. The general harbour was full of top end boats and yachts, but as we walked to the big yachts their size was amazing. Dilbar was the first which is currently Russian owned (according to the Internet)which is deemed to be the biggest in the world by volume. To be honest it put some liners in the shade. After this there was a complete line of super yachts which were absolutely fascinating. What was surprising was the fact you could walk right up to them.

The biggest port de pleasance in the Mediterranean.
One can watch the biggest yachts and sail boats lined one next to the other. In the futer there are even plans for renovation and extension.
A big parking is available, easy walking distance to visit Vieille Antibes and to enjoy the small restaurants, cafes and bars.
Across the road in the newly paved area, antique, flower, food fairs are organized. Presently a big wheel is placed and is a temporary amusement park.

A very pleasant stroll along the walls of Antibes will lead you to Port Vauban. Here you will see the fabulous yachts of the rich and famous from all , which truly have to be seen to be believed. From floating palaces to elegant sailboats, and all shapes and sizes in between. Entry is free.

This was the largest boat, birthing area we had ever seen. The large ones were worth looking at, as they belonged to very wealthy people, and just the sheer luxury was amazing.

This port was founded by the Greeks 2500 years ago! It is the port from which the first crusade left in the 11th century! Although you can walk around and see the millionaires yachts, the port authorities have closed off the billionaires yachts: Paul Allen’s Octopus, Kingdom 5KR of the Saudi Prince Al Walid Ben Talal, the yacht in Dr. No, where Bond (James Bond) came up through the bottom, etc. You can ask about renting one of the 1642 spots for your yacht up to 165m long! After your tour, don’t forget the ice cream just inside the old gate toward the marche!

Went to the port early evening on a day trip to Antibes. Looks like the area is being developed, lots of building going on, I think the big wheel is quite new? No crowds, no queues. My friend and I bought the VIP experience, this includes half a bottle of Verve Clicquot and as many rotations on the big wheel as you like. The VIP pod has cushioned seats. We LOVED it! Anywhere else health & safety would have had a field day but the bottle was allowed on and we were given proper glassware. We managed 17 rotations, it was light when we got on and we really enjoyed the sun going down and the lights appearing. The VIP pod was 50 EUR and seats 4 - I definitely recommend it!

So many places you revisit are a sad disappointment, the soft edges of recollection are hammered sharp by the changes in the intervening years. Not so with Antibes, it is still the beautiful old town that it was in the 1980's when I used to sail in and out of there. I left a boat in September of 1990 and had not been back since and yet it doesn't seem to have changed except for the better. The harbour that used to be a tad rancid now seems to be cleaner than would have seemed possible back in the days when I was there. A great place to spend a few hours boat watching, if that is your thing!!!
