Wonderful authentic wine caves. Great experience

We had lunch outside under the trees and tasted various vintages. Bought some VERY old and rare wine and are waiting to open one bottle when it is 100 years old in five years!

We were with a party of 10 and the good service started before we set down. On a very busy weekend they put together a 10 top table and had us settled in 20 minutes every one was very pleased with their food and the price was very reasonable. Highly Recommend

Traveling to Spain we stopped over at Les Caves st. Charles for their excellent wine tasting, it was a little difficult finding the cave, but were directed by very friendly French residents from the area. Our host was very friendly and informative and the wines we tasted outstanding. We purchased 4 reds and 2 whites, but have not yet opened... More

We were fortunate that Guy squeezed us in on the national holiday. The setting is sensational - in the Popes wine Cellar be sure to ask Guy for the story of how he excavated and his futures plans - very interesting. But we came for the wine. Our tasting was just for our group of 5 - this is not... More

My husband and I schedule a tasting and then lunch at their restaurant next door. Everyone was so friendly and the wine tasting was fantastic- really helped us understand the nuances of the wines from this area. Highly recommend.

Mathias was the perfect host. Our tasting was both thoughtful and fun. He selected some amazing wines for us to try. Since we weren't going home directly from Provence he offered to store the wines that we purchased. The cave is the perfect setting for a wine tasting. Cannot wait to go back!

We booked a visit two days in advance by phone. When we arrived the petson who met us said he had no record of our reservation. Upon reflection we think he remembered we had booked a visit and the tasting was quite informative.

This is a great spot that we came upon a bit by accident. It was not on the restaurant list from the Chateauneuf du Pape Office of Tourism, but we found it nonetheless just below the Chateau de Papes. They serve lunch on the terrace in a delightful setting overlooking the valley. The kitchen is also on the terrace. We... More

Completely by accident, we happened upon this gem of a restaurant on a terrace beneath the Papal Palace. It was closed, but our host Guy told us to come back the next day. Our lunch was NOT to be believed!!! Julien the maitre d' charmed us in both French and English: he tailored our meal for us and recommended the... More

Inarguably the most exquisite wine tasting experience. Quite different from Napa Valley with its large crowds of people, fenzied tasting rooms and derth of fine dining. We arrived early and parked at the bottom of the hill, hence got the exercise part of the day over with immediately and took in the amazing valley view from the ruins of the... More
