The garden is pretty and planted with a good variety of colourful plants still looking like it does in the vincent painting. Nice place to sit although there a few shops down one side. But a must see for any VG fans

Historical Van Gogh site, the Hotel Dieu or the hospital where Van Gogh spent some time. A beautiful garden in the courtyard. One of his famous paintings was of this site. and you can view a reproduction

This was a nice place to see although i expected it to be a lot bigger. Lovely garden. Just around the corner is an excellent ice cream shop.

Excellent bookshop. Brilliant cafe. An oasis of non-commercial calm in a very busy city. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. The flower beds were beautifully tended and a riot of colour. What's not to love?

I always love to match up the exact position a famous painting was painted from. The Espace Van Gough will not disappoint. Just imagine you were there alongside the silent moody unknown painter as he created one of his best works.

Great open space enlivened by constant stream of asian girls taking selfies in the garden :-) Good shop and eating place - extensive exhibition space

We were looking for a light lunch and spotted a sign for a Breton restaurant. Going inside and through to the terrace we found ourselves inside the Espace. As an updated version of one of Van Gogh's hospitals it is a remarkable example of living...More

A little oasis of calm in this wonderful city... This was part of a walking tour but a fabulous finale and tragic to think of Vincent incarcerated in here
