Worth a visit to this unesco sight. We visited it on the way to park de blossan but not sure we would have gone out of our way if we hadn't been travelling to the park.

First, it is a stop for the "Way of St. Jacques." This is pretty important stuff for the faithful who want to make their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Next, the barrel vaulted ceilings... Lovely peaceful church. Not very central however within approx 10 minutes walking distance of the centre. Very near the Parc de Blossac so could visit both on same trip. Also this church should have english literature. Well worth a visit

It is worth the effort to find your way to this hidden treasure. The sense of space and light which unfolds when entering this ancient Church has to be seen to be appreciated. I have paid numerous visits and have always found something new.

Beautiful church, well maintained and restored. Watch some of the steps, not well marked. Great Stained glass windows.

This is unusual in French cities, where the rise of Gothic architecture tended to result in the tearing down of Romanesque churches in favor of the... More

A really beautiful building, one of many in the city. No guides in English, but it is possible to understand a good portion of the guides in French.

This very old church is full of history and an important stop-over for the pilgrims walking down to Santiago de Compostella.

Not as old as we were expecting, c1800's, but nice all the same. Plenty of little streets to wander around. Watch out for the French drivers as it is not a precinct
