With cognac blends of more than 100 years in archives , the art of distillation that is unique to Martel which we were told is not... More

COGNAC The town is a charming little french town full of treasures. Given the size of cognac stocks various brands is probably one of the richest in all of France. Witch you should visit the production of barrels of white oak is fascinating. Even more interesting cellars and then telling the manufacture of cognac. Do not miss chateau and lock... More

This tour was very well organized and full of history about the makings of cognac. We booked directly online and was able to get a tour time with one other couple. It was easy to drive to this place. There is plenty of parking. We took our 3 year old daughter who slept most of the time because of being... More

As a competition win arranged by Martell we had a lovely tour taken by the guide exploring how Cognac is made, a reconstruction of the Martell House, the old distillation centre with barrels and the blending room. The visitor centre was built in 2015 to commemorate 300 years and the tunnel is shaped like a barrel using French oak. They... More

I have nothing but good words to say about our visit on 10/9/16, from the moment we called them!!! We had spoke to two other distillery's and didn't get the right information we needed.. But as soon as we spoke to Martell lady on the phone, she was super friendly and spoke very good English which was a good job... More

A very good tour with lots of information. Good English guide but felt very rushed from one area to the next. Our guide spoke very fast and didn't give any time for questions. Enjoyed tasting the cognac and wouldn't be afraid to visit again. Martell is close to the centre so they were happy for us to leave our car... More

If you are in the areas this place is worth a visit. The shop covers various Martell Cognac's , but you really appreciate the drink after the tour. This tour covers the history of Martell and the manufacturing of Cognac, plus a tasting at the end. Go for the 18 Euro tour as you can compare the two different grades... More

After so much hype, the factory is just a tourist magnet Not much cognac making happens here. Well made up to create atmosphere and fool your senses - ceiling is blackened - meant to be mould from fermentation - actually is paint! Even the information given by guide is perfunctory. Videos are out of context - all artificially laid on.... More
