A beautiful cathedral, among the best in France. Dating from the Britanny kingdom age. Close to the castle, this is the heart of the city. Fire in the early seventies, the roof was destroyed. I was there, very emotional to see this big building afire in the night. I cryed! Since then, it has been restaured.

My husband and I walked against an jovial crowd as we made our way to watch the L'Odyssee des reves at the Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul. The light projections, set to music, on the facade of the cathedral made people of all ages ooh and awe. (Available 23-30 December 2016 from 19:30-22:00/ 7:30-10pm, lasts about 12 minutes)

Catherdral dates from Viking times. Beautifully restored after a fire, 1972. Contains interesting tombs and history of Nantes.

Cathedral is on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (to Spain) so make sure you get your credencial stamped here (you can also buy one inside). Everything you'd expect from a grand European Cathedral. Impressive almost seems an understatement.

In the heart of the city, this cathedral has been rebuilt in the second half of the 20th century. It is a magnificent place to hear an organ concert, if you have the opportunity. However, it is worth visiting as either a tourist attraction or as a worship venue on Sunday morning. Please honor the patrons of the cathedral who... More

This Cathedral is just beautiful. I went there quite late so I couldn't go inside but it is stunning from the outside.

Large, well kept Cathedral, Lots of new stained galss windows, I would imagine due to war damage replacement? some original Norman stained glass windows, a couple of important tombs and two very nice widely voiced Pipe Organs.

Combined with a visit to the adjacent Chateau makes a great few hours, it is a fine cathedral with many great windows.
