This beautiful botanical garden was a 30 minute walk from the main town but was well worth the effort, it is also on a bus route from the town. We were in Rouen for a day and are very pleased we found this from other...More

If we had visited this public garden in summer I am sure we should have enjoyed it far more. In March there is little to see (few spring bulbs) and the glasshouses were unfortunately closed.

It is a very beautiful and well treat garden, with some tropical plants, that use to have some thematic events. Good to rest, to read a book and recharge battery, especially during spring and summer time. Should try and it is free.

We visited here in the late summer. The gardens are only a short bus ride from Rouen centre. With free admission this is a place for the whole family to enjoy. Walk the paths admire and stop and smell the flowers.

The Jardin des Plantes was a nice garden to visit, but perhaps not that impressive on a cold early winter day. Not suitable for a night visit as it is closed

Enjoyed a very relaxing couple of hours in these beautiful well maintained gardens - a tranquil oasis in the city of Rouen. Loved the Chinese garden.

Free entry to these lovely gardens with great features like the Chinese garden, pools and fountains. Only sad we could not take the dog in so one of us had to walk around the perimeter instead!

The park is spread out with wide, neat roadways. Its not so much a "wow" place as a pleasant and varied location. There were lots of colourful dahlias and other plants. There are some very striking trees, including some beautiful redwood and other very tall...More

A very nice urban park but the main attraction is the collection of orchids, particularly the paphiopedilums collected before 1914--gorgeous rothschildianums and stoneis.
