It’s pretty, take a picture, look underneath it, move on. (There is a nice bar for beer attached to the side of the tower. )

Rue du Gros Horloge leads to the old market place and is our favorite street in Rouen. One cannot miss it as this is where the Gros-Horloge is.
Lots of interesting shops and interesting historic buildings. There's a beautiful clock along the way. One end of the street is close to the cathedral, the other end runs into the market square where the Joan of Arc church and marker is.
Certainly a worthwhile visit but the audio tour is out of date telling about items that are no longer there! If you can get past the really annoying American accent and “childish story telling” style of the tour then it’s worth listening to. Be aware...More
As others have said, it is an interesting and busy place. The clock is worth the trip. It is a fun and quirky historical item.
