Nothing out of the ordinary. On this occasion the gallery was displaying works, each with a musical theme, from a variety of artists. It didn't do anything for either my wife or myself. I'm a bit of a self confessed philistine, but my wife does...More

We saw an excellent exhibit of "Music in Art." Since one cannot return to Monet's garden after leaving for lunch, a visit to this museum is the perfect afternoon activity.

This beautifully curated little gem offered a lovely space to view a small but well-chosen collection of Impressionist works. While small, the layout gives an unexpected sense of space and light. The surrounding gardens were also beautiful and peaceful. Well worth your time!

We were thrilled to see that there was a special exhibit when we were there - an exhibit of the role of music and musicians as subject matter in art. Excellent!

great little museum which is currently running an exhibition on music in impressionist paintings. the ground floor which is the largest hosts the exhibition and the basement though quite small has the permanent collection. you will see paintings from multiple painters

I didn't find the museum with enough to make it worth my while; however, the garden was nice. I was lucky as the first Sunday of every month is FREE. I don't think I would have been pleased if I had paid!

Do not come to this museum to see paintings by Claude Monet (there is only one here), but to appreciate the milieu in which Monet painted, and his influence on generations of artists. The permanent collection is small, but the museum has excellent special exhibits....More

The exhibit I saw contained all the major expressionist, and a few I wasn't familiar with, and also paintings I'd never seen. Good exhibit.

Unless you are into whatever special exhibit they are having forget about it -- a Monet museum with nary a Monet -- a tiny expensive museum with little in the way of charmMore

Dear HonestMcHonest, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry you were disappointed. However, our museum is not a Claude Monet museum, but a museum dedicated to the whole Impressionist movement and our exhibitions do focus on Impressionist artists. The current one – “In Concert!...More
