This is worth a visit though be prepared for crowds. You can do this without having to book through a tour company and just take the train on your own, you'll have more time to enjoy the garden at your leisure instead of trying to rush in order to make it to the meet-up time. The gardens are very beautiful... More

It wasn't until after many visits to Paris that I finally made it out to Giverny and I wish I had gone sooner! We went in April and it was absolutely stunning. The tulips were in bloom and it was the most immaculate garden I have ever seen. It was a big bonus to actually go into Monet's house as... More

This garden is stunning, we have never seen plants used in so many different ways, it's quite small but packed with colour and must take an army of gardeners to keep the plantings current. The water lily pond is an entirely different spectre, just amazing. We travelled out from Paris and it was well worth the trip, visit early in... More

While visiting Paris, we made a side trip to Giverny. It was worth the time spent planning! We took the train from the Gare St-Lazare and then the "Navette" from the train station in Vernon to the gardens. Finding the shuttle was easy, there were footprint stickers on the ground from the train platform that said Giverny. Also, the majority... More

Fortunate to visit on a lovely spring day - everything was in bloom. We easily took the train from the city and then a taxi from the station - got to the home before the less expensive bus but also before that load of people. Be certain your camera is fully charged - a picture with almost every step. The... More

This home of Claude Money and his second wife was the inspiration for many of his most famous works. The gardens Monet designed are stunning.

Giverny is beautiful and we will definitely return. It was amazing to see Claude Monet's house and gardens - especially the waterlily pond! It was quite busy when we were there but we were able to see everything. The tickets are expensive. Just over 9 euros for an adult but it's worth the visit if you are a fan of... More

Monet's house beautifully restored to look as it did when he lived there including replicas of his paintings hanging on the walls. His bedroom overlooking the garden and the fantastic kitchen are memorable. The gardens are truly magnificent in full bloom and immaculately maintained. Unfortunately no water lilies on the pond at the time of our visit, but the weather... More

This is a beautiful place when the spring flowers are in bloom. I cold easily see tulips, forget-me-not, poppies and a lot of other blooming flowers I don´t know the english name for. Don´t miss the Japanese section with the pond. Rest for a while at the river bank and enjoy. Access via car is recommended and use the remote... More

Getting to experience the Gardens that Monet designed and built was like a dream. To stand where he stood and see what he saw is just incredible. To see where he lived and walk where he walked just unreal. Don't miss this attraction.
