You can’t miss this cathedral as you drive into Bayeux, as it dominates the landscape of the small town— but make sure you take the time to go inside. I enjoyed it more than Notre Dame in Paris. Incredible look at church history and architecture...More

Very moving and beautiful. The entire church and its stain glass windows are impressive. The chapel for peace and the memorials for the brave veterans of WWI and WWII evoke strong emotions.

It's like most European churches and it's worth the quick photo op both interior and exterior. You'll spend about 20 mins seeing both unless you stop to pray or reflect. It's next to the Liberty Tree...only two remain from the French revolution.

Well worth a few minutes reflection in the peaceful Cathedral. Take a moment to remember others in this historic part of France.

The cathedral was drop-dead gorgeous. We saw it after seeing Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and thought this one was even more beautiful. Make sure to go out in the evening after dark to see it lit up - a spectacular site.

A must see when in Bayeux! It's incredibly big for this little town. Walk through or sit and admire it.

The cathedral Notre Dame of Bayeux was dedicated with William the Conquer in attendance. The current building has many gothic and later additions. It is well worth seeing. It’s in Bayeux.
