Buy the three museum ticket and go to all three. The tapestry is well presented with audio assistance provided, which helps interpret what is shown.

One must spend time in this museum during a tour of Normandy battle sights. The knowledge gained is fascinating.

We had a busy schedule while in Bayeux and were not sure if we should take the time to see the tapestry. We were so glad we did. Pictures do not do it justice. It is amazingly long and tells a good tale, which is...More

Recommended. A piece of linen hand made decorated with wool to tell the story of Guglielmo il conquistatore. From the 1066 the tapestry has been exposed one time every year for the people, to Lethe know the history of the country

This tapestry is phenomenal! Thanks to the free headsets, we could follow the story stitched into the 100+ foot tapestry. Definitely worth a visit.

We arrived just 30 minutes before closing time. As a result there were very few people present allowing us to cruise and view the tapestry at a comfortable pace. The work is displayed nicely and the audio guide is very helpful.
