Take the gratis electric minibus to the embankment of the Garonne to see and cross this beautiful bridge. The original bridge is still standing ( or at least one of its arches ) near the old hospital / now a hotel. The gardens near the bus station are a good place to relax by the river. Enjoy.

This is a nice bridge to review from the river bank. Look out for the small figure placed in the first arch. There are a number of Cafes/ Bars around to stop at for a pleasant drink and something to eat.

Really nice bridge for poetic pictures. Watch on maps for a place called Point de Vue and from there you will have a great view of the bridge on your pictures. It is also good to have accomodation close to it. I can only recommend!

Although it’s name means new bridge - as in Paris - this one is the oldest still in operation in Toulouse. The construction lasted almost 90 years in between 16th and 17th centuries.
This bridge was strong enough and above all well designed to resist to many floods including the terrible flood of 1875, when the water overpassed the full bridge. Thanks to 7 irregular arches, with holes (dégueuloirs in French) allowing the water to pass through and its shape, this bridge is still there.
Moreover it’s a beautiful building and a nice place, during the day or at night.

The view is great during the day, but try to loop back for a night time view as well. We were there just after a tain so the water was brown and murky, and the wind kept the water rippling (no calm reflection photos) but it was still beautiful to see and appreciate.

The Pont Neuf connects the historic center of Toulouse to St-Cyprien across the Garonne River. It is a beautifully architected bridge with beautifully landscaped river banks. A great place to wander and/or sit and marvel at the most pleasant surrounding views.

It is a classic spot in the city. Makes for great pictures. You have a nice view of both sides of the city, the region is surrounded by trees and its cool to see the sunset from it. Still, it as a bridge and honestly there is only so much you can expect from a visit to it.

Nice place to stop and check out the views across the River Garonne. It’s also close to the Point de Le Daurade where you can book and go on a river cruise.

Words cannot describe this enough. A truly magnificent work of architecture and to have survived this long amid all weather. Night time on the bridge is breathtakingly beautiful. The lights and reflection magnificent. The highlight of our trip

Le Pont est magnifique ; gratuit. En métro (payant) descendre à Esquirol (ligne A) et remonter à pied par temps clair, descendre ver la gauche à la Prairie des filtres (jeux gratuits pour enfants !) pas de restaurant sur place.
