This cathedral is really unusual and very interesting to see. Amazing decorations and stonework. We even had the luck to have a young choir practising which enhanced the experience.

Incredible Cathedral but care if you are using audio system. Ours didn't work particularly well! Get a combined ticket with Musee Toulouse-Lautrec which is located next to cathedral.

Stunning - this huge brick church is imposing from the outside. Inside the decoration is outstanding. I will compare future cathedrals against this one.

This is the largest brick built cathedral in the world. It was having some restoration work when we visited but you still got the grandness of the building

Biggest brick built cathedral in the world! The building dominates the town of Albi. You can see the tower almost anywhere in the town. Very nice square where it is situated with nice cafes.

The entire interior of the church is beautifully painted. The choir area was gothic design and in good condition. The Audi guide was very informative.

Dear Jan I did a calculation back of envelope last year and I arrived at 35-40 millions of bricks. It is a good idea for a chat at the end of a good meal. Cheers Jean-Jacques from Rabastens (Tarn)
