My husband and I always visited the aquarium in whichever city we are visiting. Aquarium Mare Nostrum was not the biggest, but they have good and interesting selection of sea life.

Great place for a rainy day in Montpellier- the kids enjoyed it. It is also convenient for disabled people. It is not huge but quite alright

The aquarium features nice interactive exhibits for the children. For example, they can simulate being in the middle of a storm. Well worth a visit.
