A free zoo set in a forest is a fantastic day out, but as I say if the day is a little warm (or 40 odd degrees in our case) the animals wisely hide in the shade well away from sight. Still get to see...More

Beautifull zoo and a very nice walk... And for free? But if it's too hot all the animals seem to disappear :-)

The zoo is a bit out of town and a nice hiking day. The restaurant was like a small village restaurant...not too expensive but solid food. It was fairly priced and we could sit outside and relax before finishing the park.
