The hub of the city, bright vibrant especially with the colourful trams pulling in every few minutes. Plenty of pavement cafes serving food and drinks from breakfast to dinner. Try a different one each day! Look up at the beautiful surrounding buildings, the stone carvings on the buildings are interesting -try to spot the Devils! The Monoprix is a useful... More

Very pretty University town. Strange how it is not recommended in Lonely Planet. Parking in car parks is a must, but there are several around town. Top brand shops. Parking on the streets in Montpellier is impossible. Car parks are a must. This car park is very easy to reach. 4 stores underground and often full especially in the afternoon.... More

This was our first Christmas market and was well done. The lights, the vendors, the restaurants etc. All was well done. Visited 2 nights in a row. Be aware that things die down quickly after 8 pm.

You can spend leisure time wondering around this lovely big square and savour the locals!! There is a lovely flower market near also

We arrived at the train station late afternoon and asked by our host from Airbnb to meet at La Comedie, which is very closed to the train station. La Comedie is a square with lots of attraction and full of night activities. It is beautiful especially with blue light lightened. Many restaurants within the square and also in the surroundings.... More
